About this hotel
On the fringes of the badlands of Rajasthan, Brij Lakshman Sagar is a boutique hotel that was originally built in the late 19th century as a hunting lodge by the then Thakur of Raipur, Lakshman Singh Ji. It was established to host other noble families and British emissaries. To keep the culture of hospitality and traditions of the House of Raipur alive, we envisioned a getaway much like Thakur Lakshman Singh Ji, though with a conservationist view of the heritage and surroundings. The property has been meticulously planned and conceptualized following the zero kilometer design. Resources for the architecture are sourced from the vicinity, which is reflective of the rustic, local lifestyle of rural Rajasthan, India
Spread over 32 acres of land, our hotel is an oasis located in a serene rural setting. It offers 12 independent cottages with private pools, a historic man-made water catchment, a hand-carved swimming pool on top of a rock hill with an air of tranquillity. The re-conceptualization of Brij Lakshman Sagar is manifested through the endless detailing in the architecture and design, the cuisine, and the well-thought activities and non-activities tailor-made for the guests amid a captivating, natural topography, ideal for mindless relaxation.
